Pühapäeval, 21. septembril saab igaüks kasvõi omas kodus osa võtta ülemaailmse rahupäeva raames ühismeditatsioonist, mis toimub Eesti aja järgi õhtul kell 22.00. Samuti soovitakse täna luua 24 tundi kestvat nn ülemaailmset rahulainet, millesse saavad oma panuse anda kõik kohaliku aja järgi kell 12.00 päeval kas mediteerides või muul moel rahule keskendudes, kirjutab Telegram.ee.

Rahupäeva tähistati esmakordselt 1982. aastal ning see on pühendatud nii riikidesisese kui rahvusvahelise rahu tugevdamiseks. Soovitavalt võiks konfliktikolletes sel päeval kehtida vaherahu.
20. sajandi sõjalistes konfliktides sai surma üle 200 miljoni inimese. Kas 21. sajandi alguse sõjad, mis on puhkemas uueks maailmasõjaks, lõpetavad veel rohkem inimelusid või suudame me seda veel üheskoos peatada? Igatahes soovime me kõigile rahulikku rahupäeva ja mõnusat mediteerimist.
